❄ What makes Chloe special: the freckles on her nose

Chloe came into our care in the summer of 2024.

Chloe was living on the streets in a local town that is known for being very unfriendly to dogs. She had had a litter of puppies on the streets, but only one had survived. They were found by an animal loving student, who fed the mother and puppy on the streets and tried to keep them safe. But despite her best efforts, life on the streets is never safe for dogs, and a car drove over two of Chloe's paws, causing a nasty injury on her front paw. Luckily, she managed to escape without any broken bones.

Desperate to save mother and pup, the animal loving student tried to find homes for them. She found someone willing to take in the puppy, but no-one wanted Chloe, so we agreed to take her in.

Always happy and full of joy, Chloe is one of our sweetest dogs. She happily greets any person or dog who comes across.

Chloe is a cheerful, social dog who is confident and easy-going. She is very active and is always off playing with the other dogs or chasing birds around the enclosure. She isn't easily scared and enjoys being taken out of the enclosure for walks and to explore new places.

Chloe is great with people and is friendly and affectionate both towards people she knows and towards strangers. She will happily say hi to everyone she sees, but doesn't need constant attention. She loves getting cuddles and pets, but she doesn't pester you for more and she is happy to go off playing again once the cuddle session is over.

With her playful nature, Chloe gets along well with the other dogs in the Melez enclosure. She is a well-integrated part of the pack and enjoys playing with the other dogs. She does not like sharing her food with other dogs however.
She is very friendly when meeting other dogs.

Chloe does not like cats and chasing birds is one of her favourite activities. You will often find her running around the enclosure with her nose in the air, following birds around and barking at them when they land in one of the trees. It is possible that Chloe has a prey drive, and this is something her adopters should be prepared for.

Chloe is very energetic and would love an active life with lots of opportunity to run and explore. With her sweet, easy-going nature, she will be a wonderful addition to an active household. Chloe has so much love to give, and would be so happy to have a family of her own which whom she can live life to the fullest!

Chloe is currently in Turkey and is ready to travel to the UK or the EU.

The dogs arrive in their homes microchipped, up to date on their Rabies and Mixed vaccinations, spayed/neutered, dewormed and deflead and tested for Heartworm, Ehrlichia, Leishmania and Anaplasma. The dogs visit the vets for a final health check before they travel. If needed, their teeth are cleaned and X-Rays are taken of any potential areas of concern. Any concerns or potential health issues we are aware of will be communicated with you beforehand.
