❄ What makes Miley special: Miley got her name because she is the most smiley dog in the Melez enclosure!

Miley came into our care in early 2024.

Miley was found on the streets by a local animal lover. It looks like she had been recently abandoned, as she was absolutely terrified. She was the only small dog in an area with lots of large street dogs and she clearly didn't feel safe.. The animal lover stopped to feed her, and when they drove off Miley tried to run after their car, desperate to be taken away from the streets and brought to safety. The animal lover called us to ask for help and of course we couldn't turn this poor girl down.. When they went back to pick Miley up, she jumped straight into the car and happily settled down on the back seat, so relieved to finally be safe.

Little Miley is as cute as a button, and we can't imagine why her owner abandoned her!

Miley is a sweet dog with a bright and bubbly personality. She is an easy-going, confident dog who adapts well to new situations and isn't easily startled or scared.

​

Miley adores people and is very affectionate. She loves getting cuddles and excitedly jumps onto your lap for some attention. Miley is very social around strangers and happily greets everyone she meets. She is also very friendly towards children and loves interacting with them.

​

Although she gets along well with the other dogs in her kennel, Miley is clearly more people-focused and isn't very interested in other dogs. She does play with her kennel mates and has no problem sharing food or toys, but we think she would be happiest as an only dog in the house, with plenty of opportunity to play with other dogs on walks, or with another dog who wouldn't pester her for lots of interaction.

Having spent over a year in the Melez enclosure, Miley is very bored of living in a kennel, and she really comes to life when she is taken out for walks. As soon as she leaves her kennel, she starts running as fast as she can and excitedly jumps and prances around in the grass. She loves being out of her kennel, and can run around and play for hours when she is outside.

​

Sweet Miley is full of life, and she would be so happy to be able to leave her kennel and live life to the fullest in a home of her own! She will be the most cheerful, sweetest companion to her adopters, and is sure to bring lots of joy to her new home.

Miley is currently in Turkey and is ready to travel to the EU/the UK

​

Our dogs arrive in their homes microchipped, up to date on their Rabies and Mixed vaccinations, spayed/neutered, dewormed and deflead and tested for Heartworm, Ehrlichia, Leishmania and Anaplasma. The dogs visit the vets for a final health check before they travel. If needed, their teeth are cleaned and X-Rays are taken of any potential areas of concern. Any concerns or potential health issues we are aware of will be communicated with you beforehand.
