❄ What makes Bob special: Bob loves his bum rubs and will lean his bum against your legs until he gets his scratches!

Bob came into our care in the summer of 2024.
Bob had an owner before, but he was abandoned on the streets.. Not used to life as a stray, poor Bob was absolutely terrified when he was found. He was so desperate to be saved, that when a local animal lover stopped to give him some attention, he followed her all the way home, begging to be taken off the streets. The animal lover contacted us and we agreed to take Bob in.​

Bob is a wonderful dog who is full of life! He has a cheerful, playful character and gets along with everyone. He is confident and energetic and is sure to put a smile on your face!

Bob has never met a human he didn't like and he excitedly greets everyone who comes in to the enclosure. He happily comes to say hi to us every morning, and loves having visitors. He gets along with men and women and with children, but as he is big and strong, he may be at risk of knocking small children over. Bob is incredibly affectionate and loves getting cuddles. His favourites are bum rubs and belly rubs, and he will either lean his bum against your legs or excitedly flop onto the floor, lie on your feet and show you his belly, hoping for some scratches.

In the enclosure, Bob is a beloved member on the pack and is friends with all the other dogs. He gets along with both males and females and both small and big dogs. He is also very friendly towards new dogs. He is more focused on humans than on other dogs though, and although he would enjoy being able to play with other dogs when out for walks, he would prefer not to have to share his home with too many other dogs, and would be happiest as an only dog or living with one other dog.

In general, Bob is a very confident dog, who loves being out and about and exploring new places. He walks well on the lead, but does pull in his excitement to be outside. He isn't skittish and isn't easily scared in crowded areas. However, Bob is very scared of loud sounds. Sounds like fireworks and thunder terrify him, and he panics and becomes very stressed when there are loud bangs. His adopter will need to be aware that Bob will need reassurance during thunderstorms and other loud events.

Bob is a lovely boy with a heart of gold, who so deserves to experience the love and comfort of a forever home. Could you be the one to show him what life is like with a family who will never abandon him?

Al onze honden worden voor vertrek gechipt, geneutraliseerd, gevaccineerd, ontwormd, ontvlooid en getest op hartworm, Ehrlichia, Leishmania en Anaplasma. Voordat ze op reis gaan krijgen alle honden een gezondheidscontrole. Indien nodig worden hun tanden gereinigd en worden er röntgenfoto's gemaakt van mogelijke probleemgebieden. Alle (potentiële) gezondheidsproblemen waar we van op de hoogte zijn, worden vooraf gecommuniceerd.
